چکیده

Campylobacter jejuni is more frequently associated with zoonotic bacterial cause of foodborne gastroenteritis in humans. Effective diagnosis C. infection various matrix like foods animal origin, environment and human crucial to maintain public health. Since molecular carries several advantages over conventional microbial culture techniques, this study, the limit detection for selected virulence genes (flaA,mapA hipO) were evaluated know suitability them be used as diagnostic targets early by in- house designed primers PCR. Analytical sensitivity these assessed terms Colony Forming Units (103 CFU/ ml, 102 101 100 ml) DNA concentration (100 ng,10 ng, 1 pg, 10 pg ) C cultures. Results revealed that targeting flaA have superior 10CFU 1pg DNA. Whereas mapA hipO CFU; CFU ;10 ng respectively. Gene had comparable limits but found less sensitive respect has fold lesser detection.
